In Vitro Tenofovir diphosphate acts as an inhibitor of DNA pol. Tenofovir-diphosphate is a weak inhibitor of DNA polymerases (pol) α, δ, and ɛ, with values for the Ki for PMPApp (PMPAppKi) relative to the Km for dATP (dATPKm) of 10.2, 10.2, and 15.6, respectively.
