Description | Arbidol is an antiviral agent used for the treatment of influenza infection in Russia and China. It has been used against influenza A and B viruses, and hepatitis C virus (HCV). It has been shown that ARB could inhibit COVID-19 infection through interfering the release of SARS-CoV-2 from intracellular vesicles. It can be used to treat trypanosomiasis in livestock. |
